What Is Play Therapy

Play therapy is for children what counselling/therapy is to adults. Play therapy is a child’s natural way to communicate and express their inner world. Play therapy helps children to express their feelings through toys instead of words to work through psychosocial difficulties and move toward developmentally appropriate growth. Children feel heard through play which results in less anxiety, changes in behaviour and enhanced self-esteem.
