ACT is a therapy based on the concept that suffering is a natural and inevitable human condition. We have the instinct to control our experiences, but this instinct does not always serve us.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a behavioural therapy that uses mindfulness to encourage individuals to embrace their feelings and thoughts instead of feeling guilty or fighting them. ACT fosters self-acceptance through flexibility and tolerance for your thoughts and emotions. When aiming to be more accepting of your thoughts and feelings, commitment plays a key role.
