More Than Just My Work

Born of Irish and Scottish matrilineal lines and unknown patrilineal lines, I was raised in Treaty 6 Territory of Wild Rose Country, and Coast Salish Territory of Supernatural British Columbia. I was informed by experiences of the prairie wind whispering through tall grasses, beckoning me to ponder the starry blanket of the sky above, and by the grounding protection of conifer-covered coastal mountains flowing with crystalline creeks to the expansive, jewelled ocean at her feet. The land connects me to self, community, culture, ancestors and cosmos. Through my experience of adoption, abandonment, survivor’s guilt, bullying, betrayal, medical issues, neurodiversity, near-death experiences, love, loss and grief, I came to formulate central values and my purpose toward service for the greater good. My lifestyle is enriched through pets and beloveds, yoga and meditation, time communing in nature, singing, dancing, learning, cooking, writing and painting.

Connecting more deeply to ourselves leads to greater clarity about our lives and directly benefits ourselves and our communities. Entering a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect and cultural sensitivity that strives for authenticity and meaning can be a profound experience to uncover blind spots and promote human flourishing.

I am interested in collaborating with you to find catalysts to ignite deep transformation from within. Capturing these visions of change and attaining clarity, we can walk together, creating a new path forward, one that you guide and I support. This client-centred relationship invites you to unburden yourself in a safe and empathetic space, enabling you to strive toward the healing and personal growth that supports your goals.

“I find one vast garden spread out all over the universe. All plants, all human beings, and all higher mind bodies are about in this garden in various ways, each has its own uniqueness and beauty. Their presence and variety give me great delight. Every one of you adds with your special feature to the glory of the garden.”

I am a Certified Reality Therapist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a certified Yoga teacher, and a Montessori educator. I have spent the past decade focusing on ADHD and the past 25 years working with children, teens, parents, families and individuals exploring issues that present as we move through myriad life stages. I work with dreams, symbols, and archetypes and use creative means tailored to client interests to help facilitate this sacred work. Values and meaning are central, using a psychoanalytic and existential approach to revealing the many realms of consciousness that inform our realities.

My central tenet: we carry within us all past generations, and all future generations, be good to yourself.
