More Than Just My Work

I enjoy running, especially when it’s coupled with exploring new places. I also love to travel; Hawaii being one of my favourite places to visit, specifically the beach. I also love spending time with my family and friends. Last, but certainly not least, I will always appreciate a good play on words.

Magdalena Mocarski, MA, RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor

As individuals, we are constantly growing, and experiencing life transitions, which can be challenging and take a toll on all of us. As a mom of a toddler, I know how challenging it can be to maintain a work/life balance. I also know that it can be a difficult transition to return to work after maternity leave. I believe that the adaptability to change is often the key to establishing a fulfilling life. I also deeply believe that holistic healing is the best foundation for lasting change.

While I mainly practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I cater my therapy to fit the needs of each individual, and I am always seeking consent and collaboration throughout counselling. I empower clients to overcome personal obstacles, and to improve their relationships with themselves and with others.

Throughout therapy, I maintain a sense of curiosity and provide a safe space, free of judgement for my clients.

“Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.”

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), in Vancouver, BC, with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University with over seven years of counselling experience.
