More Than Just My Work

I am a big fan of cold plunges and long weekend road trips. One time my friends and I drove through 8 states within a 5-day weekend! Growing up, I did Royal Conservatory voice training and singing remains one of my favourite hobbies today, along with photography. I find myself spending much of my spare time exploring, learning, and curling up with a good book and my black cat Nyx.

Hunter Elyse, MA, RCC, CCTS-I

Registered Clinical Counsellor

I believe that within every single one of us lies a wise inner healer, and I want to help you find your voice. Through my journey healing from C-PTSD, I learned firsthand the vital importance of working with the body in the healing process. I’ve been there, and I am here to help you. My therapeutic approach involves supporting you in becoming more in touch with your emotions and connected to your body.

My training and experience have equipped me with the knowledge to assist you in regulating your nervous system, and becoming more in-tune with the landscape of your inner world so that you can show up in the way you desire in your outer world. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment for you to get to know yourself on a deeper level so that you can more easily engage with the space around you.

“You will never be able to experience everything. So, please, do poetical justice to your soul and simply experience yourself.”

Her passion for this work comes from her own personal journey healing C-PTSD, and
these lived experiences inform her depth of understanding and allow her a unique
standpoint from which she is able to support her clients.

Hunter has volunteered on the Vancouver Crisis lines, worked as a support worker at a
residential youth treatment centre, and been employed as an employment counsellor.
