I am a mom of a teenager and love this stage of her life. I enjoy reading new parenting books, and traveling. I am also a marathon runner; I love exploring new running paths every day here in North Shore.
I believe that counseling is a two-way process which means working together to identify problems and develop solutions. I believe my client is their life expert and I will do my best to meet them where they are and support them in their life journey. I decided to become a clinician because I have always found individuals’ resiliency and perseverance in facing their life challenges extremely inspirational. I became a counselor to help others find their path again and feel privileged to witness that.
I have owned and managed two preschool centers for the last twenty years, which has given me a deep understanding of child development and the importance of connection.
I view counseling as a journey of self-exploration by the client which helps them increase their level of self-understanding and self-awareness. I embrace imperfections while remaining open to improving. I believe the connection and rapport we build together are crucial to therapeutic success. I hope to be able to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to assist them in the process of discovery and acceptance of the self.
